DC IT Business Systems Analyst Roles and Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of DC IT systems and IT network infrastructure of the entire facility to ensure 100% uptime consistency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT related matters for users and systems across office and distribution floor environments.
Management and Support responsibilities consist of the following: All IT hardware and infrastructure equipment in the DC 300+ Zebra Label printers 340+ RF devices (WT6000, ET51, MC9190, VC5090) 250+ thin clients 200+ PC’s and Laptops 14 Networking IDF’s 45 Cisco Switches 141 Cisco Wireless Access Points Dematic Applications Server, Dematic Database Server, Pyramid LPA Servers, AMS Server, InfoLink Server, DC File and Printer Server, Tape backup library System, Avigilon Security Servers.
WMS/AS400 system management, AS400 Print queues and session maintenance Dematic automation and communication with PKMS and the network.
Provide comprehensive top tier technical management and support of all IT systems used at the DC.
Primary liaison between the Visalia DC and GBT counterparts to facilitate and ensure proper procedures are followed and IT security measures are met.
Responsible to identify and prioritize DC system improvement initiatives that support the aligned DC business strategies and goals.
Responsible for determining DC IT planning and budget requirements during budget planning.
Responsible for working with outside vendors to bid and quote DC projects requiring IT support.
Investigate and provide root cause system analysis and identification of network related problems.
Collaborate with the operations team for effective communications of DC system changes that will affect end users.
Communicate with both technical & non-technical audiences to ensure end user acceptance of system changes.
Provide complete IT inventory management and accountability.
Ensure the DC is equipped with all proper equipment and ensure a proper amount of spare equipment is held in stock.
Provide IT project management and complete IT costing duties.
Responsible for defining business requirements, refining and documenting business processes and writing standard operating procedures, and establishing IT project justification.
Work with Brand leadership teams to determine systems project requirements, benefits, and prioritization, and work within the business-driven guidelines to successfully execute projects.
Provide supervision and workload oversight to our onsite End User Services Technician.
Ensure tickets assigned to him are worked on in order of priority.
Provide mentoring, leadership and education to further develop the skills required to support the DC.
RF Specific Responsibilities: Fully responsible for the complete functionality and managing of all RF devices and the connection to our WMS system.
Responsible for the software customization and the configuration of 340+ Zebra RF devices using SOTI MobiControl and Velocity emulators.
Responsible for the loading of RF device emulation software and re-imaging of all RF devices that have been repaired.
Responsible for the maintaining and continuous updating of 340+ Zebra RF devices to the most current and compatible version of emulation software to maintain proper function.
Serve as the DC Subject Matter Expert providing technical support for Zebra/Motorola wearable scanners, handheld scanners, truck mount devices and InfoLink modules.
Owner of the SOTI system that maintains RF device profiles and software packages.
Owner of the InfoLink Server that connects to all InfoLink modules installed on forklift equipment.
Using InfoLink, maintain, modify and add new forklift equipment with InfoLink modules.
Using the SOTI mobile device management console, maintain and monitor current in-use devices and licenses.
Manage device group membership that ensures each device type received to correct settings.
Maintain working relationships with Zebra/Motorola engineers to keep up to date with best practices and serve as the DC point of contact for RF device repair technicians.
Manage the Zebra onsite repair technician to ensure onsite repairs are being completed timely and properly.
Ensure Service contract financially forecasted for and is in place for Zebra onsite repair technician.
Work with the operations team to provide custom solutions for requirements on RF devices to improve functionality and make changes to the RF devices as changes are made within PKMS.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and latency issues found on RF devices.
Configure hand held laser scanners with automated and macro configurations.
Test equipment demos and new devices to determine the best possible configuration for our environment.
Provide RF device technical support, training and solutions to other DCs across the Coalition.
Setup and configure Zebra thermal label printers with AS400 parameters to print all DC labels such as UPC, shipping, UCC128, etc.
Support the DC with miscellaneous PKMS issues and provide technical support for DC Zebra label printers.
Troubleshoot PKMS parameter issues with AS400 and work with PKMS support team to resolve them.
Assist with printer and PKMS session planning during department expansions.
Key daily activities include: Prioritize ongoing business needs and provide expert technical advice while gathering the requirements necessary to execute upcoming IT system changes and implementations.
Manage IT incident prioritization and provide incident escalation and root cause analysis.
Manage over 340 RF scanner devices.
Create and upload standard OS templates to be used across multiple RF Scanner models.
Maintain proper licensing for RF device SOTI server.
Manage the RF device management console to push updates for any required changes.
Manage over 300 Zebra label printers with proper IP configurations and naming conventions.
Configure and manage WMS naming conventions of all thin client stations on the floor running our AS400 WMS application.
Develop best practices and strategies for sister DC IT staff to follow while supporting ongoing and evolving IT transitions.
Develop and maintain working relationships with outside IT vendors for IT purchases and service contracts.
Manage IT inventory control for all related DC IT equipment.
Provide IT process analysis and guidance including the development of standard operating procedures and the implementation of IT policies.
Provide application and system training to end users to ensure a high level of user acceptance.
Hiring Range : $59,616.
00 USD - $74,520.
00 USD annually Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
