DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with all operational gaming policies and procedures and internal controls.
Maintain the highest quality standards in all areas of guest service and hospitality.
Promote positive guest relations providing an enjoyable gaming experience by answering questions and resolving disputes.
Oversee all casino floor staff, rewarding, and disciplining Team Members as needed in the absence of departmental manager or supervisor.
Oversee and supervise the Valet operations and Team Members
Generate necessary shift reports.
Coordinate activities with all other department supervisors.
Stay informed as to amount of cash on hand, and coordinate emergency drops as needed.
Work with departmental managers and supervisors to ensure that all casino Team Members have a professional appearance and perform job duties assigned.
Work with departmental managers and supervisors on investigation, and appropriate disciplinary action to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
Held accountable to the highest degree for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all duties and responsibilities.
All other departmental duties as assigned by the Director of Casino Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum age requirement is 21.
College Degree and one (1) year supervisory experience or three (3) years’ experience in supervisory/management in a gaming environment.
Experience must include proven leadership, supervision of professional staff, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and departmental standard operating procedure, including development and implementation.
Demonstrated success with managing staff and operation functions within the gaming industry.
Must be computer literate, including knowledge of computer software as it relates to guest databases and gaming spreadsheets.
Must have a thorough understanding of all aspects of Title 31.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be experienced and sensitive to working with diverse groups of people.
Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license with the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
Repeatedly required to reach with hands, arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a noisy and smoke-filled environment.
Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

SUPERVISES: Casino Staff; Valet Attendant
HOURS: The casino operates 24/7.

SALARY: $/hr.
