*Junior Construction Financial Analyst*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Construction Financial Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a resourceful self-starter capable of navigating various financial responsibilities within the construction realm.
This role involves collaborating cross-departmentally and adhering to the company's accounting methodologies while managing multiple construction projects.
*Responsibilities:*
* Collaborate with various departments, demonstrating flexibility to assume diverse roles if required and contribute effectively to ongoing projects.
* Independently identify areas for improvement and adeptly problem-solve to ensure seamless financial operations.
* Ensure adherence to the company's established accounting principles
* Utilize QuickBooks to establish and manage project-specific financial frameworks, encompassing asset booking, accounts payable management, invoicing, bill payment, property tax tracking, budget allocation, cost forecasting, and proforma creation for rental and sales projections.
* Oversee financial aspects of multiple construction projects, including but not limited to:
* Liberty Pointe: Ground-up construction of 55 homes and 55 ADUs
* Bungalow 144: Ground-up construction of a 144-apartment project
* Andyland: Vertical construction of 109 homes
* Camden Place: Ground-up construction of a 216-apartment project
* Facilitate the preparation of tax returns for various affiliated entities and manage monthly draws for ongoing construction endeavors.
* Efficiently process invoices across all land development projects and meticulously track budgets to ensure financial accuracy and project feasibility.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
* Proven experience in construction accounting or financial analysis roles within the construction or real estate industry.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar financial management software.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with various teams and departments.
* Adherence to high ethical standards and a keen eye for detail in financial reporting and analysis.
*Compensation:*
The salary range is between $60,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
The final compensation package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This is a 1099 contracted position requiring an in-office setting with occasional fieldwork.
