Your Role:
As the Supervisor, Vehicle Assembly, you'll be working with some of the industry's brightest minds to:
Work within the Plant providing leadership to manufacture a world class product while achieving KPI targets for the Vehicle Assembly shop in quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness and safety.
Safety first.
Evaluate and monitor processes and people to ensure a safe working environment.
Apply problem solving tools to eliminate actual and potential hazards.
Support model mfg plan development and execution, including trials and launch of new equipment and tooling.
Create and ensure standardized work is followed.
Lead with a continuous improvement mentality.
Create a safe, respectful, fair and professional work environment.
Reinforce company policies and procedures.
Learn and understand escalation process.
Implement FF Production System in the Vehicle Assembly department.
Maintain close communications with team leaders and managers for effective and efficient problem solving.
Understand or implement Uptime equipment strategies to assure operational excellence.
Understanding of Preventative Maintenance strategies, activities, and monitoring metrics to manage current state as well as improve future state.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance as required to meet aforementioned goals with continuous process improvements.
Lead continuous improvement activities in manufacturing regarding: safety, manpower utilization and efficiency, ergonomics.
Coach Team Leaders and Team Members so they can grow and reach their maximum potential.
Basic Qualifications:
Three or more years of related professional experience in an automotive plant shop floor environment or equivalent
Leadership Experience: Two or more years in an supervisory role exhibiting leadership and providing direction to others.
A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to quickly learn new processes and equipment.
Ability to provide direction to team members in high pressure situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on team building and development.
Computer Skills: Computer literate with strong command of MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Business or manufacturing related discipline.
Experience with MES systems.
Lean Manufacturing shop floor implementation experience.
Annual Salary Range:
($100K - $115K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
