The salary range for this role is: $104,334.
88 - $187,674.
24 Responsibilities: We are on a Maintenance & Reliability cultural journey to maximize our equipment uptime and reduce the life cycle costs of our assets.
This is a fantastic time to join the team as we will be developing, piloting, and validating what we want our Asset Management program to be.
Once we have established our program the Maintenance & Reliability Senior Engineer will be leading the development of the maintenance strategies to maintain our assets and solving complex reliability problems with cross functional teams.
This position is based out of our Hanford, CA location and will have the opportunity to develop maintenance strategies that support the entire organization with locations in Mexico, Washington, California, and Wisconsin.
Lead and manage the analyzation of the asset failure data, conducting root cause analysis to solve reliability problems and validate solutions with data.
Collaborate with Maintenance Planners and Schedulers, Storeroom, and Execution teams, leading projects evaluating and implementing maintenance strategies to maintain assets.
Develop the asset hierarchy in SAP.
Execute asset criticality via equipment analysis to establish maintenance prioritization.
Lead Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and engineer the asset maintenance plan.
Design and implement engineer preventative maintenance job plans to detect failure patterns through human detection.
Provide direction to PdM Analyst to implement appropriate PdM technology to detect failure patterns.
Provide direction to Corporate Engineers to incorporate design for reliability and maintainability concepts into new assets.
Conduct life cycle cost analysis on equipment and communicate analysis to decision makers.
Evaluate and enhance Preventative Maintenance program and processes when necessary and based on needs such as equipment changes, upgrades, and as required by the business.
Manage any follow up work requests from site audits, quality walks, etc.
Influence senior stakeholders across the company to align and accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
Act independently to determine methods and procedures for achieving objectives.
Manage complex initiatives of operational importance to the function, involving large cross-functional teams.
Quality and Food Safety – Lead overall responsibility for finished product quality, food safety and legality, within functional area.
Maintain standards and adjust processes to meet Del Monte standards and customer expectations.
Communicate and explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Engineer Degree in applicable or related area (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
At least 7 - 10 years of engineering related experience within a food manufacturing setting or comparable industry.
Ability to think critically and logically, as well as the ability to work with larges sets of data and make sense of them.
Strong understanding of systems, equipment, and processes, as well as engineering principles.
Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Ability to use statistical analysis tools, as well as the ability to interpret and communicate the results of the analysis.
Ability to identify potential safety and quality hazards and take the necessary steps to mitigate them.
Ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization.
Strong partnership with production planners, storeroom, maintenance teams, and outside contractors will be required.
Prior experience with a CMMS or PM tracking system.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
Preferred Skills: SAP experience and/or Super User Trained.
PdM knowledge and/or certifications.
Experience executing Precision Maintenance.
CMRP Certification.
