Outside Sales Support

Description: Outside Sales Support will learn the flow of orders from input into CRM or Webster through production and transportation to final delivery to the customer, which will provide the best value to the customer, as well as ensure production has acceptable lead time to fulfill orders.
Outside Sales Support spend time with the Calf Specialist to learn aspects on product quality and calf/ heifer performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular customers and their employees to take or schedule orders for existing feeding programs.
Manage on the farm inventories and order in advance with estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
Works with JDH Calf Team members to help grow their business.
Include weighing calves on farm, collecting feed samples and other duties.
Investigates and resolves customers’ problems with deliveries and/or quality concerns.
Attends periodic trade shows and nutritional or dairy management meeting to promote company image and develop dairy skill set.
Promote and maintains JDH reputation and image.
Drive a culture of safety, accountability, opportunistic curiosity and contributes to creating an environment where people want to work.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Strong knowledge of dairy operations, and feed ingredients desired Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related Software Physical Demands Frequent sitting, use of computer, communication via telephone Ability to navigate an office environment.
Ability to travel throughout farm facilities as required.
Daily exposure to outside working conditions.
Job may require occasional travel within the United States.
