Loan Processor-Housing Rehabilitation

Self-Help Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Loan Processor in our Housing Rehabilitation Program.
As a Loan Processor, you will focus on participant recruitment, program eligibility determination, and loan processing.
Experience in real estate, commercial lending, and/or federal housing programs is preferred.
You must be able to work effectively as a team member, be detail-oriented, and maintain confidentiality of information.
As a Loan Processor with Self-Help Enterprises, you have the opportunity to be the first contact with hard-working Valley families looking to improve their living conditions.
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Responsibilities: Recruit participants.
Determine program eligibility.
Process and close loans.
Work independently and as a team member.
Work effectively on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Conduct community outreach and engagement.
Must haves: Detail-oriented and maintain confidentiality.
Strong computer and communication skills.
Relate well with persons of diverse backgrounds.
Some night and weekend work may be required.
Notary license or ability to obtain.
Previous experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or financial services preferred.
Familiarity with affordable housing programs and community development initiatives is desirable.
Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
