• AHA BLS & Cert Required (Certified Board Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• This department includes all instrument processing and sterile supply functions for departments within the facility.
• This may include surgery, labor and delivery, emergency departments, etc.
Central Sterile Services may include decontamination, cleaning, assembling, wrapping/packaging, sterilization and distribution of items such as surgical instruments, trays, and packs.
• Additional responsibilities may include replenishment of par carts/exchange carts throughout the facility, cleaning mobile patient care equipment (such as IV pumps and suction machines), and storing sterile supplies awaiting use.

The Sterile Processing Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the management and supervision of sterile processing activities within a medical facility.
This position requires a strong background in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure proper handling of medical equipment and instruments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, aseptic techniques, and leadership skills to effectively lead a team in maintaining a sterile environment.
Additionally, holding a BLS Certification and CRCST is essential for this role to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Management or supervising experience in a healthcare setting
