*Job Summary: *
The AP supervisor will oversee the AP department of three AP specialists.
These specialists serve multiple companies within the organization.
The AP supervisor will manage deadlines and audits with their team.
The position will also backfill AP specialist roles as needed.
Currently averaging 200+ payments a week and 470+ invoices.
*Duties/Responsibilities: *
* Daily audits of GL coding.
* Expense reporting and analysis
* Training of staff
* Process documentation
* AP aging report review.
* Vendor reconciliation and troubleshooting
* Annual 1099 preparation
* Oversee month-end accrual preparation
* Quarterly reviews of personnel and goal setting
* Projects and ad-hoc analysis
* Process AP and payments for Holding company (Average <10 invoices a week)
*Required Skills/Abilities: *
* Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high quality work; sense of urgency and willingness to be hands on with tasks.
* Supervisorial Skills
* Accounts Payable Internal Controls
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and solid understanding of technology to be more efficient.
* Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
*Education and Experience: *
* 4 year degree a plus.
* 1+ years supervisory experience required.
* 3+ years of Accounts Payable Experience.
