, recently announced an agreement to acquire Perfection Pet Foods, a leading manufacturer of private label and co-manufactured pet food and baked treats.
The transaction is anticipated to close by the end of the calendar year in 2023.
This role is part of the Perfection Pet Foods team of 250+ employees who will soon join the Post family to help grow the pet food business.

We are currently seeking an HR Manager who will lead two new manufacturing facilities in Visalia, CA, as they transition to become part of the PCB family.
Play a critical role in shaping company culture, giving employees an amazing experience, and helping leaders deliver on business goals.
Reporting directly to the President of Perfection Pet Foods, this role is responsible for working in partnership with the Plant Leadership team to coach, support, and influence, enabling them to effectively deliver their “people plans”.
As a strategic partner, you will drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion activities through collaboration with corporate and local committees.
Building cross functional relationships with HR Center of Excellence teams will be key to receiving additional resources to supporting plant initiatives.
Leading the plant team members through the upcoming changes will set you up on a path for success at Post Consumer Brands.
Success Criteria Be a credible partner to deliver value to the Plant Leadership and their respective management teams, enabling them to develop individual employee ability resulting in a higher performing organization.
Embed engagement, safety, and a performance management culture within the plants as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear goals and objectives, feedback, and the improvement of customer service through behaviors aligned with our values.
Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and people management, allowing for flexibility and planned growth.
Partner with other resources including HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and initiatives that reflect the business strategy.
Work in partnership with other HR Managers and functional leaders to manage employee relations issues.
Build responsibility and capability for managing these issues while pulling in the services of the Centers of Excellence (specialist areas) as needed.
Lead HR team of HR Business Partner and HR Coordinator.
Responsible for strategic planning for talent selection processes locally including: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local legal and regulatory requirements.
In partnership with Plant Manager and corporate communications resources, develop and implement strategic communication plans to drive employee engagement and culture work.

5+ years of HR increasing responsibility within HR environment.
Ideally to include progressive systems development experience, including generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
Exceptional leadership skills that have been demonstrated by achieving desired results through others and building effective partnerships through influence and relationship building skills.
An in-depth technical understanding and knowledge of HR processes and systems.
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Comprehensive HR business process knowledge, including applicant tracking systems, talent management, change management, HCM suite experience: benefits, payroll, time and attendance, performance management, compensation, employee, and manager self-service experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to manage projects and change initiatives.
Ability to travel by automobile, airplane or other transportation is necessary, and such travel may occasionally entail long distances.
Work Environment/Work Location Fully onsite at the Visalia, CA manufacturing facility The primary work environment for this position is typical of an office work environment, but within a manufacturing site.
Therefore, it will require the periodic presence in a manufacturing environment in which appropriate personal protective equipment is prescribed and must be used at all times.
