About the Role
We are seeking experienced Class A CDL with doubles endorsement drivers to deliver beautiful plants to our customers throughout the west coast.
This is full time seasonal position with the possibility of year round offer, depending on our business need.
Compensation: Hourly range of $20.

What You’ll Do
You’ll operate an over-the-road tractor trailer or 26’ box truck with a set of doubles to deliver beautiful Monrovia plants to our valued customers.
You’ll unload plants and/or assist the garden center employees with the unloading process.
You’ll assist in our rack retrieval program.
You’ll obtain shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and return completed documents as appropriate to the shipping office.
You’ll make sure that you operate in a safe manner performing pre trip and post trip inspections and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
You’ll maintain an electronic driver's log with accuracy and in compliance with DOT regulations.
Who You Are
You are 21 years of age or older.
You have a valid state Class A CDL with doubles endorsement.
You have an acceptable driving record for the past 3 years (must be accepted by insurance).
You have good basic math and geography skills.
You can follow verbal and written instructions accurately and are able to respond in writing as necessary.
As a face to Monrovia, you are proficient at dealing with customer personnel with tact and diplomacy.
You are open to feedback.
You are open to working extended hours.
You meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and can successfully pass a substance abuse screening.
You enjoy working in a team environment and being supportive of co-workers.
You are able to walk, lift up to 50 pounds or 65 pounds on occasion, bend, squat, reach, pull and push, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

You’ll receive an hourly rate of $20.
00 - $22.
00, depending on your experience.
You’ll receive paid overtime after 8 hours daily and after working 40 hours per week.
Your meals will be reimbursed, and lodging will be provided when on the road.
You’ll earn 40 hours of sick time.
You'll be eligible for Holiday Pay upon completing 30 days of employment
