Customer Service/Dispatcher

Duties: Must have HVAC experience - Receive and process service requests from customers and clients - Dispatch service technicians to customer locations based on urgency and availability - Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources - Communicate with customers regarding service updates, delays, and estimated arrival times - Maintain accurate records of service calls, including details of the issue, actions taken, and resolution - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of service requests - Assist in managing the fleet of service vehicles, including maintenance scheduling and fuel management Skills: - Proficient in transportation planning and logistics management - Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine - Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) software for mapping and route optimization - Strong organizational skills to prioritize and schedule service appointments effectively - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, technicians, and other team members - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment - Understanding of supply chain operations and freight management principles - Experience in fleet management is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
