SUMMARY: Provide a safe, nurturing, welcoming environment for young children and assist Service Center Manager and Instructor in planning and supervision of appropriate activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Attends to needs of children.
Prepares and serves snacks and drinks.
Plans and conducts activities with children.
Responsible for arrangement, appearance, décor, and general site environment.
Mantains cleanliness and safety of all work/play areas.
Maintains constant supervision of children in work and play areas.
Preserves the condition of all supplies, equipment, and materials.
Communicates and relates to staff and children in professional manner.
Maintains effective communications with teacher, parents, and guardians.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Access to transportation, California driver’s license, and minimum auto insurance as required by law.
