Accounting Clerk
Central Valley Meat is looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Cattle Accounting clerk with accounting experience.
Your responsibilities would include maintaining inventory records, preparing balance and shortages reports, reconciling end of day inventory, and data entry.
Inventory clerks can expect to work long hours sometimes and work Saturdays as needed.
Successful accounting clerks should have exceptional math and analytical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Ideal candidates are physically fit and have accounting experience, working knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet software, and a valid driver’s license.
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
Maintaining and updating records.
Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
Prepare settlements
Audit cattle checks
Set up new vendors
Analyze cattle costing
Track commissions
Apply freight costs
Organize freight bills
Coordinate/communicate with cattle vendors and cattle buyers
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
High school diploma.
Associate degree or higher certifications in accounting a plus
2+ years experience in inventory control.
ERP Systems
Excellent math and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organization and teamwork skills
Ability to work extended hours.

Schedule:
Closing Shift: 11:00am – 8:30pm, Monday-Friday
Opening Shift: 6:30am – 4:00pm, Monday-Friday
Saturdays as needed
