The salary range for this role is: $81,732.
56 - $138,934.
64 Responsibilities: Primary Responsibility for all Indirect/Direct Labeling and packaging Operations.
Coordinate and communicate all Labeling and packaging requirements with production support groups daily.
Supervise and check processing controls, critical control points, and the condition of machinery to ensure the achievement of labeling standards.
Responsibility for managing the packaging and labeling functions to ensure volume and variable costs are within guidelines set by the annual operating plan (AOP).
Responsible for ensuring that volume efficiencies and fixed and variable cost containments stay within guidelines set by AOP.
Introduce method changes and staffing matrices to maximize labeling and packaging efficiencies.
Supervise and motivate employees to maintain established sanitation, housekeeping, and safety goals.
Maintains effective labor relations with employees under equal employment and contractual obligations, and ensures and improves employee motivation and productivity.
Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and lean manufacturing tools to increase quality, reduce costs, and improve profitability for the facility.
Leads problem-solving activities and develops the team to solve operational issues.
Initiate and request appropriations for projects to increase and maintain production or improve the work atmosphere.
Provides support in other operational and/or administrative capacities as assigned, and actively supports corporate proprietary programs.
Overall responsible for finished product quality and food safety.
Maintain standards and adjust processes to meet standards.
Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Del Monte Foods Quality Systems to assure compliance with quality and food safety requirements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Industrial Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 Years of Directly Applicable Management Experience within a comparable Labeling and packaging Manufacturing environment.
Extensive functional knowledge of packaging and labeling equipment and operations.
Strong Indirect/Direct Labeling & Packaging Operations experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for working with a range of backgrounds and interests.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions and be self-directed.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative within general company guidelines.
High degree of collaboration within the team.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Strong organizational skills with good time management.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize key projects.
