Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team.
As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available units
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, or in-person
- Screen potential tenants by reviewing applications, conducting background checks, and verifying references
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Collect rent payments and handle tenant inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
- Utilize property management software (e.
g.
, OneSite) to maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
- Stay up-to-date with fair housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop effective marketing strategies to attract new tenants
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of real estate administrative processes and leasing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with prospective tenants, current tenants, and other team members
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and contracts with potential tenants
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for record keeping purposes
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite is preferred
- Understanding of fair housing regulations and ability to apply them in all leasing activities
- Proven sales skills to effectively promote available units and close leasing deals
