As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with our senior property managers, assisting them with various tasks both in the office and on-site.
*Responsibilities:* * Assist senior property managers in serving as the primary point of contact for property owners, tenants, and vendors, gaining valuable hands-on experience in communication and relationship management.
* Support the smooth day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including assisting with leasing, rent collection, and maintenance activities under the guidance of senior managers.
* Learn to maintain positive relationships with property owners, gaining insights into addressing their concerns and needs effectively.
* Assist in property inspections and learn about ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards alongside senior managers.
* Gain exposure to preparing and managing property budgets, financial reports, and performance analysis, under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
* Collaborate with senior managers in coordinating maintenance and repair projects, working closely with vendors and contractors to understand the process.
* Develop skills in fostering positive tenant relationships, addressing concerns promptly and professionally with guidance from senior managers.
*Requirements:* * Some previous experience in property management is preferred, but not required.
Those with experience as a property manager will be considered favorably.
* Basic knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow in the field of property management.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications and a willingness to learn property management software and other relevant tools.
