Jazz-funk drummer available (Visalia)

Mature (maybe very mature) former pro drummer looking to join or form a jazz/funk band with the goal of playing out once or twice a week.
Something along the lines of Hancock, MM&W, Lorber, Auger, Corea, Scofield, etc.
Not particularly interested in playing the Great American songbook but I guess there’s a few tunes there.
Jazz doesn’t have to frighten audiences.
;) I’m in Visalia but have no problem coming to Fresno
