Project Architect

The Role
As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in executing the design and technical aspects of project delivery in collaboration with our talented team of architects, engineers, and technicians.
You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, contributing to the planning, scheduling, and coordination of detailed phases of professional work.
Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you may also serve in the role of Project Manager or Job Captain.

What You'll Do
Produce work according to established standards, methods, and procedures of the firm in consultation with the Project Manager and/or Principal Architect.
Coordinate the layout and drafting of project drawings and development of project specifications booklet.
Direct the efforts of other staff on the project team to provide design solutions while meeting project deadlines and maintaining optimal financial performance.
Communicate frequently with Project Manager and/or Principal Architect regarding project progress and budget.
Provide peer reviews of projects completed by other architects to ensure documents meet TETER's standards of quality.
Mentor and support the professional development of junior architectural staff.
Your Qualifications
Licensed Architect in California with 6-10 years of experience for Level I, 10+ years for Level II.
Experience in directing or managing support staff.
Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Science in Architecture or equivalent.
Expert knowledge in the development of construction documents and proficiency in programming and construction administration.
Highly developed skill sets in a variety of construction types.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected annual salary for this role in TETER's Fresno, Visalia, or Bakersfield offices is $102,000-125,000 (must be willing to work in-office 50% of each week).
Actual pay will be determined based on license, experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
