Benefits Eligible Full-Time Benefit Eligible Work Shift Variable (United States of America) Department 7080 Admin-Population Health The Assistant Director of Rural Health Clinics will collaborate with the Director and administrative team to oversee the rural health clinics within the Kaweah Health clinic network.
Responsible for maintaining high-quality patient care standards, managing clinic operations, and assisting in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Provides leadership and oversight of the performance of department leaders and providers.
QUALIFICATIONS License/Certification Required: Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional (CRHCP) within one year of hire Preferred: Current CA Registered Nurse License Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience Preferred: Master's degree in business administration, management, health care management, or related field Experience Required: Four years of operational management experience in outpatient clinics (i.
e.
rural health clinics, or hospital based outpatient clinics), demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex outpatient operations successfully.
Preferred: Experience with opening new rural health clinics/service lines, site visits and surveys (CMS, CDPH, TJC, health plans, etc.
), integrating quality improvement initiatives into clinical operations Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates ability to simultaneously work with and organize key stakeholders across multiple departments.
Exhibits the ability to organize work assignments and follow through with accuracy.
Exercises good judgment, demonstrates initiative, emotional stability, tact and poise.
Demonstrates proficiency in the use of technology and software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Essential- Collaborate with the Director to develop and execute strategic plans for rural health clinics, aligning with the organization's mission and vision.
Assist in managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of multiple rural health clinics, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of clinic staff, fostering a positive, engaged, and supportive work environment.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and standards.
Collaborate with medical providers, clinic management, and support staff to optimize clinic workflows, patient scheduling, and resource allocation.
Monitor patient satisfaction and feedback, implementing improvements to enhance the overall patient experience.
Assist in financial management, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue optimization for the rural health clinics.
Participate in the development and implementation of outreach and community engagement programs to promote healthcare awareness in rural areas.
Analyze clinic performance data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and recommend areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with local healthcare partners, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.
Pay Range $64,480.
00 - $950,000.
