Adventist Health Hanford, is one of four medical centers that forms Adventist Health in the Central Valley.
This medical center serves the communities of Kings County.
It provides the following care services: cancer, diabetes, emergency, cardiac catheterization lab, stroke, inpatient and outpatient surgery, orthopedics, and birthing services which includes a neonatal intensive care unit in partnership with Valley Children's Hospital.

Job Summary:
Greets and directs visitors.
Prepares and maintains medical records.
Responds to patient requests for assistance.
Provides information to patients, families, and physicians.
Provides other clerical support to nursing team as required.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
One year's relevant experience: Preferred
Hospital or medical office experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Unit Secretary training course: Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: Preferred
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
Essential Functions:
Processes orders and assists unit visitors and callers.
Ascertains flow of patients admission/transfers.
Assists in scheduling patient procedures and assembling patient charts.
Performs data collection and maintains data on an ongoing basis.
Assists in scheduling patient procedures.
Assembles charts.
Participates in regulatory environmental compliance duties, clearing hallways and calling for equipment/pick-up as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
