San Joaquin Valley Homes, the fastest-growing Home Builder in the Central Valley, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Accounts Payable Manager to join our Accounting & Finance team.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire Accounts Payable process, including invoice entry, coding & check runs
Resolve discrepancies, disputes, or other issues
Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to ensure payments are processed timely
Process intercompany transactions and bank transfers
Prepare and post journal entries
Organize and maintain documentation of A/P processes and procedures
Maintain A/P files, ensuring proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records
Work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager to meet department deadlines
Supervise, provide guidance, and manage the workload of Accounts Payable staff
Prepare and process annual 1099 reports
Other duties as assigned
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with BuildPro and Hyphen Solutions Software a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
2-4 years of work experience, preferably in Construction industry
Salary Compensation & Benefits:
$50,000-$65,000 DOE
