Metal, very sturdy and heavy duty.
These "Tanker" desks were used extensively in the '60's and '70's by governmental agencies, financial institutions, and other businesses until replaced by wood desks in the '80's.
This one came out of a Bank of America branch.
Dimensions - 60" wide, 30" deep, 29" high Available for pick-up in Porterville.
Be aware that it is fairly heavy, so I would suggest two people come to pick it up.
