(1) Vintage Original Antique 1933 HUEBSCH Industrial Steampunk "Clothes Drying Apparatus".
This is a Pristine Example of one of the first Compact Commercial Clothes Driers, that was specifically built for sale directly to smaller Industrial Users, and even the Public.
It was Patented on April 10, 1933, by Monte F.
Huebsch and Pierce Manfred Pearson, and called a "Clothes Drying Apparatus".
The Original Patent Application describes the Invention like this:
"The Invention relates to clothes drying-apparatus.
"
"The general object of the invention is to provide a clothes drying machine of simple and compact construction and whose first cost is not high so that the cost of several of these machines compares favorably with that of the large multipocket machines used by laundries and a more flexible equipment is obtained as well as a saving in operating cost over the usual large laundry drying equipment.

This particular unit came from the District Warehouse of a Local 160 year old School District, where it had been sitting for over 50 years.
From the looks of it, I believe it could be wired up and plumbed, and you would drying laundry this afternoon.
It looks to be 100% Complete and Original, and has some Wonderful Patina.
It's not as heavy as it looks, and I saw another one just like it that had had some casters added to it's base, so that it could be easily rolled around.
All in all, a really Cool piece of Industrial Art, that could be used to Decorate your Office or Studio.
I'm asking $499 for it, or make me a Reasonable Offer.
It is located in Central California, and I may even be able to deliver it to you, if you aren't too far away.
Please Contact me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Greg
