SUMMARY: Assists in the coordination of a wide range of administrative and program assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Analyzes historical and current financial and program data in order to provide input into planning, implementation, and monitoring of grants and other projects.
Provides suggested controls for monitoring grant compliance and data accuracy.
Acts as troubler shooter to isolate the cause of inaccurate or insufficient data.
Writes procedures and create forms for grants, using regulations, contracts, and internal Proteus policies and provides training for same.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of grant regulations and contract requirements to provide recommendations to management for input into decision making process.
Serves as staff representative at program planning and training meetings with funding sources(s).
Acts as liaison for staff to obtain necessary data from funding source and others.
Does special analysis and provide written reports and proposal narratives upon request.
Responds to requests from funding source(s) for information.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or six years’ directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Moderate computer skills required for data entry, Word, Excel, and other software programs, as required for the position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Access to transportation, California driver’s license, and minimum auto insurance as required by law.
