Wealth Management firm seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to work under the direction of a Financial Advisor.
Individual must be willing to work under pressure and meet appropriate deadlines Our firm is a fast-paced environment and requires someone who is a self-starter and fast learner.
_*Responsibilities:*_
* Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
* Analyze current and past data and create financial models for decision support
* Prepare reports and projections based on analysis
* Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
* Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
* Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
* Utilize financial planning software
* Data entry using financial planning software
* Assist with special projects, as needed
_*Skills:*_
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Two years minimum experience as Financial Analyst.
* A high level of professionalism and an appreciation for the confidentiality and sensitivity of information received and handled.
* Proven ability to remain flexible in the work environment and manage multiple priorities under time constraints in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail
* Ability to effectively research topics and analyze information, as needed.
* Strong organization, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to apply these competencies in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to effectively prioritize time sensitive material in an efficient manner.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to independently compose correspondence.
* Ability to work under high demands and expectations.
* Ability to be pro-active and detail-oriented: must work successfully under pressure and handle all situations with the highest degree of professionalism.
